Instructions on how to reserve a group study room in the Learning Commons

Policies & Procedures

There are currently 8 group study rooms available to reserve.
Book a group study room

 

 

Priority will be given to current NNU students.

Reservations must be made by midnight for next day use. No same day reservations will be accepted. Any times not reserved may be used on a first come, first served basis.

Reservations can be made up to 2 weeks in advance.

Group study rooms may be reserved for 2-8 people, depending on the room configuration (hover over the blue "i" for more info). 

Room reservations are limited to 2 time slots per day.

 

How to Book a Room

Go to nnu.libcal.com ; select Study Rooms under Room Bookings.

 

To get more information about the rooms, hover over the blue "i"

 

Available time slots will be green. Click the time slot and read the policy; click continue.

 

Enter all the information, then click "Submit my Booking." The only pieces of information that will be on the printed room schedule are the Group Name and the Time. No personal information is published.

You wil receive an email asking you to confirm your reservation. Confirm, and you're all set!

How was the schedule created?

During the academic year, room booking schedules are created based on the master class schedule.  

All other times, the booking slots are 1-2 hours long.
