Downloading e-books from Ebrary

Our download features come with two options:

  1. Download a portion of the book (maximum on 60 pages) such as a chapter. This type of download will be in a PDF format with no Digital Rights Management (DRM). There is not an expiration to the download of a single portion of a text. These PDFs are available to view on most computers and devices including Kindles without any additional software.
  2. Download the entire book using Adobe Digital Editions and utilizing Adobe Content Server (ACS) for Digital Rights Management (DRM). The amount of time before your download expires is based on the license of the book and will either be 14 days or 7 days. After this amount of time the book will expire and you will not be able to access your download. This option is available for viewing on most computers and devices but is not accessible on a Kindle. Full instructions for downloading the reader and setting up your accounts/devices.
