Where to find books

Many of the best resources you will need for your class assignments are in print form.  Using these resources will save you time and effort.

Atlases - Bible atlases are located in the Reference Collection (and cannot be checked out).  But you can make copies.  The Bible atlases are not located with the rest of the biblical reference books.  They are located in the G2230 call number section.

Commentaries - Prime resources for understanding and interpreting scripture.  Most of the commentaries that you will want to use for your class are in the reference section (and cannot be checked out).  But you can make copies or scan sections -- or use your mobile device to take pictures.  Some commentaries are in the Main Collection and can be checked out, but these may not be preferred by your professor.  Call numbers BS485 - BS2615.  Some commentaries can be accessed through Ministry Matters.

Dictionaries - Provide definitions of historical, geographical and topical words in and pertaining to the Bible.  Call numbers BS440 - BS475.  Some dictionaries and encyclopedias can be accessed through Ministry Matters.
